Greetings!
Thank you for taking time to visit my blog. I serve as an Evangelism Strategist with the Kentucky Baptist Convention. My task is to help churches in the state of Kentucky to be equipped and encouraged in evangelism. I have a passion to see the lost saved. I pray that this small blog will be an encouragement to you as you attempt to introduce others to Jesus Christ.
I came to saving faith at age 7 and was called to preach at age 13. I am married to Taran and have four children. The Rager household is never lacking excitement.
I am graduate of Campbellsville University (BS majoring in educational ministry and minoring in history), Liberty university (Mdiv with an emphasis in church growth and evangelism) and a recent graduate of Southern Seminary (doctorate of educational ministry in the church revitalization track. My doctoral project was titled “equipping personal evangelist at life community church”).
I have pastored in Geen county ky, Ohio county ky , and planted in my hometown of Owensboro ky. I have also had the opportunity to serve as first Vice President of the Kentucy Baptist Convention. My hobbies include being with family, traveling, reading, and enjoying a good laugh. I try to Remember: “life is short smile while I still have teeth”.
I love Jesus and I thrive when I’m around people. Especially lost people. I want to see people saved! I am thankful to be part of the kbc team as I feel that I am able to use my spiritual gifts by encouraging pastors and churches to reach the lost.
